Morocco Waterfalls of Ouzoud (110 m high) are located in the picturesque Atlas village of Tanaghmelt. It is one the most visited site of the region for both international tourists and Moroccan day trippers. Ouzoud is the Berber word for “olive”, referring to the nearby Olive trees. Here you will see Barbary apes vying for attention and food.

Tour Plan
Morocco Waterfalls are one of the most visited sites in Morocco. It is a drive of 2 hours and a half drive from Marrakech. The waterfalls are considered to be the Highest ones in North Africa for which the tour gained popularity.
Pick Up from your hotel and drive to the Waterfalls of the Middle Atlas to experience one of the most natural land mark in Morocco. Located in a lush valley, within friendly Berber villages are three beautiful tiered waterfalls with a series of spectacular wide to narrow plunges that drop 110m into the river below.
There are many trekking possibilities to be found here, that can be made in a day. The bottom of the Morocco Waterfalls is accessible through a shaded path of olive trees. At the summit of the falls, there exists a dozen old small mills that are still in use. You can also follow a narrow track leading to the road of Benni Malal while descending the gorges from the Oued el-Abid.
Lunch at one of the delicious restaurants in Ouzoud Waterfalls surrounded by lime-trees and enjoy Moroccan specialties and fresh squeezed orange juice at one of the many cafes along the terraces on the path to the falls. By the end of the afternoon return to Marrakech in comfort of your private 4×4.
